On March 23-27, three SMARTRISK No Regrets student leaders and their staff adviser from Northern Secondary School in Toronto travelled to San Jose to attend the 21st Annual National Service-Learning Conference to share their Project Ignition initiative that focused on distracted driving with the top 10 schools in the United States. This was the first year that a Canadian school has competed in the teen driving safety grant that is funded by State Farm and coordinated by the National Youth Leadership Council.
